Satyrs Don't Die

Satyrs don't die;

they leap and revel,

dance, pine,

                                and mystify—

Seduce and capture

with hot breath

a prey of nymphs

                                immortal.

Satyrs don't die;

they sing homage to passion

in a mysterious fashion;

in fertile pastures they lie.
